The deceptively cute Canada Jay is one of the hardiest birds in North America, living in northern forests year-round and rearing chicks in the dark of winter. Highly curious and always on the lookout for food, Canada Jays eat just about anything, from berries to small animals. In the summer Canada Jays hoard food in trees to sustain themselves through winter. Canada Jays nest in late winter, incubating their eggs in temperatures that may drop below -25°C. Aves Coffee Co. supports conservation efforts to protect the natural habitat of birds like the Canada Jay.

Just bought the Canada Jay Sweet Espresso Whole Bean from the Village Grocer. Brought it home, made an Americano, had a buttery croissant with it and I have to say that, I’m in love. This espresso bean has a beautiful, rich, deep and delicious flavour, puts me in a good mood:)

I am happy that Aves offers a selection of espresso roasts. I recently had to go off dairy. I can't believe I didn't stop contaminating my coffee with milk before! Aves coffee is smooth, rich and tasty without being bitter. Without the milk, I can taste the subtlties of flavour.
